1997                        MeisterSchueler, Kunstakademie Duesseldorf, Germany.

1995            Post-graduate scholarship awarded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Duesseldorf, Germany.

1994            Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation apprenticeship grant for the Royal College of Art in London.

1993            Completes the full curriculum for the photography course at Ar.cO (Center for Art and Visual Communication), in Lisbon, Portugal.

1991/92            Course in History of Photography at Ar.Co (Center for Art and Visual Communication), in Lisbon.

1990            Continues to study photography at Ar.Co., Lisbon (Center for Art and Visual Communication).

1988                Begins to study photography.
